Tracking done, mixing to come

Hey everyone, we finished tracking four new songs this weekend with Chris Gates and Bryan Nelson at Sweatbox here in Austin. The stuff turned out great and we'll be mixing in about a week and a half. We'll have some copies available - if you know the password - by the time the CIK show at Emo's occurs on March 8th. The new stuff highlights some of the more upbeat stuff you've been digging at the shows. I'm working on a "links" page I hope to launch by the end of March. We are currently sold out of T-shirts but will be printing more soon.

Handsom Joel Svatek

Early last week, the Austin rock and punk community lost one of its crown jewels. Handsome Joel Svatek was taken from us all by a drunk driver. Joel was an incredible guy that left everyone he met feeling like they had a good friend in him. Joel's sense of humor, sincerity and love of the Austin live music world are only a few of the reasons why Joel stood out as being a really special guy. The turn out for Joel's memorial service last Friday was testament to the impact Joel made on so many of our lives. We'll truly miss you Joel.
